Avenza Geographic Imager for Adobe Photoshop 6.3

Geographic Imager extends the capabilities of Adobe Photoshop, making working with spatial images fast and efficient. It adds tools for importing, editing, managing, and exporting geospatial images such as aerial and satellite imagery. Enjoy using built-in Adobe Photoshop features such as transparency, filters, pixel editing, and image adjustments such as brightness, contrast, and curve controls while maintaining spatial reference.

Geographic Imager supports GeoTIFF in Adobe Photoshop and other standard raster formats. Tiling and mosaic images, projection change, transformation, correction and snapping of images to ground control points. Batch images with the scripting capabilities of Geographic Imager and Adobe Photoshop. Geographic Imager is a great MAPublisher assistant for Adobe Illustrator - prepare images in Geographic Imager and use them in MAPublisher.

Geographic Imager panel. The Geographic Imager® panel, redesigned for Adobe Photoshop CS5, provides quick and easy access to all tools and features. All spatial information related to GeoTIFF, DEM, ECW, MrSID, or other supported image, including coordinate system, world position of corners and pixel size, is displayed along with buttons to access various geographic imager functions. There is more time left to edit geospatial data rather than search for tools.
Preservation of spatial properties. Geographic Imager allows you to use the built-in functions of Adobe Photoshop without disturbing the spatial properties of GeoTIFF, DEM, ECW, MrSID or other spatial image. Easily manipulate and adjust visual elements such as color values and levels, histograms, tints, and sharpness. The spatial properties of the image are automatically updated and maintained even after cropping, rotating, or geospatial adjustments. This is important in industries such as photogrammetry and remote sensing where it is needed for analysis.
Import and export of spatial images improved. Import and manage georeferenced images in Adobe Photoshop such as GeoTIFF, NITF, PCI and other compatible raster data formats, including support for CIR, RGBl, and other multispectral and multiband data. Advanced Import lets you crop images during the import process (before opening them), making it a great way to crop large images.
Geospatial PDF support. Create Adobe Acrobat PDF files containing coordinate systems from a Geographic Imager image, or import and modify existing documents
Geospatial PDF. Share them easily or publish them online. Find locations, measure distances, perimeters and areas, add location markers, and customize export options. Take geospatial PDF maps on the go with the PDF Maps app for iOS.
Import elevation data. Import DEM formats such as Arc Info ASCII Grid, Arclnfo Binary Grid, USGS DEM ASCII / CDED, Military Elevation Data / DTED, and SRTM. Assign schema to DEM during import for easier rendering. Aerial overlay to create custom images.
Terrain shader. Create shaded bump maps from DEM data in Adobe Photoshop quickly and easily with Terrain Shader. Control intensity and light source. Define spacing heights for custom color palettes.
Georeferenced Images - Import or add ground control points to accurately georeference aerial or satellite imagery with multiple transformation types. Estimate residual errors to improve geoimaging and save control point data as reference files. Quick snap using one tie point, two tie points or from other documents.
Convert. Extensive support for thousands of geographic and projection coordinate systems with the ability to save custom definitions for future use. Re-center the images with the customizable central meridian and change the pixel resolution.
Mosaic. Bitmap mosaic to create a seamless image. Save the images as separate layers or flatten them to create a single image. Now supports transforming images while tiling, making it easy to get the images the way you want. In addition, you can now create seamless mosaics of images with different coordinate systems, pixel sizes, channels, and color modes.
Tile. Combine raster data into multiple images by size or number of tiles and automatically save tiles using consistent naming in any supported spatial image format. Great for converting large satellite images into smaller pieces and displaying them on the web.
SeoSgor. The SeoSgor tool allows you to crop images based on a combination of pixels or geographic coordinates (geodetic and projected). Easily define coordinates or draw a clipping region to see a preview. Advanced import allows you to crop images during import, making it a great way to crop large images without having to open them first.
Combine and split channels. Added support for merging and splitting channels in Adobe Photoshop. Useful for remote sensing, complex and true color imaging while maintaining all georeferencing.
Automate tasks. Create scripts and actions with Geographic Imager and Adobe Photoshop tools to automate repetitive tasks. All Geographic Imager tools are automation compatible.
