LastMan Standing is a show about a married man with three daughters. MikeBaxter (Tim Allen) is a mans man in a womans world when he realizesthat things have changed in terms of style, preference, and otherthings. He juggles life between being a husband and parent while workingas a marketing director for an outdoor sporting goods store. Mike isthe man at work, but in a home full of women, his wife Vanessa (NancyTravis)and three daughters Mandy (Molly Ephraim), Kristin (AlexandraKrosney) and Eve (Kaitlyn Dever) are there to make sure that he is theodd man out.

Followinga painful breakup with his girlfriend, a struggling thirtysomethingwriter with a drinking problem in Brooklyn decides to emulate his heroesfrom the novels of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. He takes outan ad pretending to be a private detective and starts taking casessolving some and making others worse.
